Editorial Team
InfoItaly.org is run by a small editorial team. We deliberately do not credit a single named author on every article — most pages are the result of multiple rounds of research, drafting and review by different team members. Attribution is to the InfoItaly Editorial Team.
If you spot a factual error, an outdated price, or anything that needs a correction, please email contact@infoitaly.org. We aim to publish corrections within 7 days of being notified.
How Our Content Is Made
Content on InfoItaly.org is researched by our editorial team using AI-assisted drafting with human editorial review. Drafts are generated with the help of large language models, then verified against official sources, current pricing data and traveller reports before publication.
- Facts & visa rules — checked against the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs (esteri.it), official consulate pages, and EU Schengen / ETIAS guidance.
- Prices & opening hours — current at the date shown on each article. Prices change frequently — always re-verify before booking.
- Refresh cycle — pages are reviewed quarterly and updated with the new "Updated" timestamp at the top of each article.
- Corrections welcome — see the contact email above. We'd rather be told quickly than be wrong publicly.
The InfoPlaces Network
InfoItaly.org is part of the InfoPlaces network — a small group of independent country-information sites following the same editorial standards. Each site covers one country in depth, in English, for an international audience. Sister sites include InfoBrazil.org, InfoUnitedStates.org, InfoBangkok.org and others. Sites in the network share infrastructure but content is researched independently for each country.
How We Make Money
We are funded through affiliate marketing commissions and, occasionally, sponsored content. When you click an affiliate link (SafetyWing, Wise, Airalo, NordVPN, Booking.com, GetYourGuide) and make a purchase, we earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. We are completely transparent about this — see our Affiliate Disclosure. We do not accept payment to write positive reviews, and recommendations reflect what we'd genuinely use ourselves.
